Connect MetaTrader 5 via plugin (EA)
One-time MT5 setup → confirm your account in TradeTrack → trades sync automatically

TradeTrack connects MetaTrader 5 through a free plugin (Expert Advisor). After a one-time setup, closed trades appear in your journal automatically — no file exports.
If you only need a one-time history transfer, use the Import tab and upload a file from MT5. For day-to-day journaling, the plugin connection is more convenient.
What you need?
TradeTrack — create an account and open integration
Step 1. Create a trading account and select MetaTrader 5 on the Choose terminal step.
Step 2. On the Add trades step, choose Integration.
The same screen is available later: Accounts → your account → Integration tab.

What you need?
- A TradeTrack account
- A trading account in TradeTrack with MetaTrader 5 as the terminal
- MetaTrader 5 on your computer, running under the login you want to journal

Step 1. Create a trading account and select MetaTrader 5 on the Choose terminal step.
Step 2. On the Add trades step, choose Integration.
The same screen is available later: Accounts → your account → Integration tab.
Step 3. Copy the URL — use the copy button next to the field.
Step 4. Click Download plugin. The file TradeTrackSync.ex5 will be saved. Run it — it will open your terminal if it was closed. Check that the plugin appears in the terminal Navigator list.

Step 6. In MT5: Tools → Options → Expert Advisors.

In the settings window, check Allow WebRequest for listed URL, then add the link you copied to the list at the bottom.
Go back to the app and copy the sync token shown there.
In MT5, double-click the plugin you added. A window with plugin settings will open. Check Allow algo trading — do not close the window yet.
Open the Inputs tab in that window, paste your token into the Token field, then click OK.
Part 3. Final step — confirm your account in TradeTrack
If your MT5 login is not linked yet, a Detected MT5 accounts block will appear (login number, broker, server). Click Connect this account. Wrong account — Ignore.

After connecting you will see Connecting… your trades will appear in a moment, then Connected · live and Last sync. You will be taken to the Trades page with your trade list.

- One plugin on one chart covers all symbols on the active account.
- Multiple logins in MT5 — create a separate trading account in TradeTrack and use Connect this account for each one.
- The plugin is read-only — it does not trade or modify orders.
- Waiting for plugin… — MT5 is running, the EA is on a chart, Algo Trading is enabled, WebRequest for tradetrack.space is allowed, and the token has no extra spaces.
- No Detected MT5 accounts — check your login in MT5 and wait 10–30 seconds.
- Incomplete history — on first run choose all history or an early date; the first sync may take a few minutes.
- New token — update it in the EA settings on the chart.
