TradeTrack lets you bring trades from Match Trader into your journal without typing them in by hand. Export a history file once in Match Trader, then upload it to the trading account you use in TradeTrack.
There is no live API sync for Match Trader today — file import is the supported way to add and update trades.
Supported formats
Files exported from Match Trader: CSV and HTML. Maximum file size is 5 MB.
Before you start
Create a trading account in TradeTrack and select Match Trader as the terminal.
Make sure your Match Trader history includes the trades you need for the period you want to import.

Step 1. Open the Match Trader web app and go to the History section.

Step 2. Select a period that covers the trades you want to import.
Step 3. Use the export control to download the history as CSV or HTML. If Match Trader lets you export open and closed positions separately, export both so your journal stays complete.

Step 4. Save the file on your computer. Remember where you saved it — you will need this file for import in TradeTrack.

Part 2. Import the file in TradeTrack
Two common paths — use whichever fits your workflow.
Option A — during account setup

- After creating an account, go to the Add trades step.
- Open the File import tab.
- If you see Export terminal, select Match Trader.
- Drag the file into the upload area or click to choose it from your disk.
Option B — from the account page

- In the menu, open Accounts and select the Match Trader account you trade on.
- Go to the File import tab.
- Upload the exported file.
Part 3. Review and import
After upload, TradeTrack reads the file and shows how many trades were found, including how many are open and how many are closed.
- Check the summary — make sure the counts look reasonable for the file you exported.
- Click Import trades (the button shows the number of trades to import).
Updates and duplicates
Match Trader import can add new trades and update trades that are already in your journal (for example when an open position is closed). Rows that cannot be matched or are already up to date may be skipped — that is normal.
Common issues
File cannot be read — make sure it is a Match Trader export in CSV or HTML, not another spreadsheet or report. Re-export from the History section and try again.
File is too large — the limit is 5 MB. Export a shorter date range or split open and closed exports if the platform allows it.
No trades found in the file — check the period in Match Trader; it must include the positions you expect. Export both open and closed trades when possible.
Import error — try again. If it still fails, contact support via chat on the website.
When to import again
After new trades or closed positions in Match Trader, export an updated file for the new period and upload it. Trades already in TradeTrack may be updated or skipped instead of duplicated.
